My first post ever on any site - I must comment on the idiocy of shots such as the one for wine storage, also those standard photos that show an open rack in a kitchen/dining room stocked with maybe a dozen bottles in an area that's likely 72 degrees. It might look inviting and professional, but not to those who appreciate wine. It makes them nuts. I'm not talking about expensive bottles; wine should be stored properly and it's doubtful those open storage bottles are being consumed in the next 24hrs (some 90% of wine is bought for consumption during that time frame). Unless the room is approximately 54 degrees no wine lover would ever store bottles at "room temperature" and no designer would suggest a space like that - sure, a person might log their wines - it's doubtful the room is a comfortable "work" space, unless maybe a restaurant?

I am SO not a fan of work desks facing the wall, where people passing by can look over your shoulder or peek at your monitor to see what you're working on. I'd much rather have a wall behind me, which is what I'm doing right now. It's good feng shui too to have line of sight to the door.

I agree, Marie! They seem to more often show desk facing wall. I prefer to face into room but one of my issues with desk facing out is that view in room is the back of the desktop computer.
