Can someone help me??

When my computer starts up there is an advertisement for an antivirus2009. I have AVG and dont want it. It shows a little shield symbol in my tray at the bottom. I can find it in progrmas to delete it.HELP!!!! ( I have win xp,Ie explorer) Thanks in advanve..

that is a nasty sypware infection but it can be taken care of by using superantispyware free, just install this program, hit the update button ,then hit the full scan button making sure you main c drive is selected for scan. Let it scan then have it clean anything it finds. You should update it once a week and run a full scan once a week to keep your pc clean of that kind of stuff. And never pay them any money it is a fake, you get them by clicking on something in an ad or on a website which then installs it on your pc, so be very careful where you are clicking and visiting.

Thank you,,,I seem to have gotten rid of it by doing a system restore. I dont know how these things get past AVG,,,GRRR! I am very careful what sites I go to. I have C Cleaner,,,is the superspyware better,and can you use them both?? Thanks!

I would probably try to do vertical stripe patterns on anything in that room to make it look taller, and definitely get a shower curtain that goes all the way to ceiling instead of the standard 72" ones because that will just lower the ceiling in an already small bathroom, but that's just my opinion.

We had to put new windows in the room. This took a little time to get them ordered and installed. But we got them in. We polished up the wainscoting and trims and painted it sailcloth and I love it. We are almost finished installing the Brazilian cherry wood floors. I can't wait to get this finished....I will send some pictures soon!

Do you think you could flip the chairs to the opposite side? You'd be able to look at the view and also use the walkway next to the TV. Otherwise, it seems like it would work well and you could do a sofa table behind the sofa as well if needed. Alternate layout idea if you had the TV mounted on the wall on an articulating arm:

yep you can use both with out any problem and yes it is at this time the best there is available, I would highly advise you to get it and install it and do as I had said because there may be some remnants left plus it never hurts to do a scan and see what it finds.

also getting spywareblaster on your pc will help stop those kinds of things from getting on in the first place. it is free and all you have to do with it is hit update about once a week then hit the button that says enable all protection that is it no scans or anything it just sits there and does the job, and it will work fine with the others too.

One of my computers got infected with a Trojan virus. I have Spybot, Spywareblaster and Avast running, so I was surprised to have this get into my computer. I ended up using the free SUPERantispyware program which got rid of it for me.
