Comments (4)I would not put an off-white vanity with white and light gray granite. The vanity does not have to be flush with the wall if the top is straight and extends past the moldings on the side of the vanity. I believe Home Depot sells a number of them- links below. I think any combination of white or gray floor tile would look great with that granite and blue-gray walls. Yes, it will be difficult to replace the tub later without damaging the floor, but it may be possible. Here is a link that might be useful: HD vanities...See MoreCan you help me with my master bathroom counters?
Comments (9)There is nothing wrong with a laminate if it is in good condition. Some of us still buy it! My kitchen counters are Wilsonart laminate and my husband's bookcase appears to have a stone top, but it is Formica 360 with a matching edge. Even if you go with a very neutral top, you will be tied to the undertones in that white or off-white countertop when you remodel. You may curse yourself for such a constraint when you go to pick tile someday. BTW, when you do go to remodel the bathroom, it is not just a matter of re-tiling. A shower is a multi-layered thing. You can't remove the tile without ruining the waterproofing underneath (if there is any). You will likely be going back to the studs and redoing the wallboard and then waterproofing when it is time to do the shower. Not to mention the shower floor, which also will need to be waterproofed and sloped appropriately. So take your time and read in this forum over the intervening years and you will learn enough to have an intelligent conversation with your contractor (or family member) about the standard of waterproofing you expect them to achieve when they remodel. If you don't address it in the pre-planning, you may learn too late that they did not waterproof or they did it wrong....See MoreCan you help me finish decorating my bathroom
Comments (3)I envision a British West Indies feel to compliment its style - light bamboo blinds to match door, white or soft blue towels, plant and candles on bathtub ledge Given the corner niche make up area, suggest mirrors running from end to end. You could even frame in and stain to match cabinetry. I would use a dark rattan chair to compliment counters. - if interested in BWI look....See Morehelp me with decor ideas for my bathroom
Comments (2)black for a rug-- or whatever colour the darkest tile is. Is the niche deep enough to hold a kleenex box? How about a rubber duckie collection?...See MoreRelated Professionals
