Unless you are talking about an appliance that requires complex computer control and extensive display capabilities, I would try to avoid them if you can. Electronics normally generate all the heat they need on their own. When you put them inside of a box with a fire burning inside of it you are inviting problems. With speed ovens and microwaves it is difficult to avoid computerized controls and displays, but for every leap in complexity you leap another tier in repair cost and difficulty.

And if you are talking about Jennair and Wolf at the same price then there is no question: buy the Wolf. They are a far better quality appliance than Jennair, will increase the value of your property and make your friends melt with jealousy unless they happen to own a Bluestar or a Capital Culinarian, in which case they won't.
