I lost my converter.

Anyone know of a reliable freeware for converting pdf files to MSWord doc?

I don't know how often you need to convert one but you might check out pdftoword.com

Bob414, I went to that link and I'm confused... the write up says that it is free and yet when you go to download they want $99.00 did I miss something ?

Note, the last three words, they do offer a free trail, but that's not what I get from the above statement. Just wondering if I missed anything here.. but nice site.

Take a look at Zamzar.com I first used it a couple of weeks ago and my conversion is still flying around out there in cyberspace. Several members have been successful with it and do recommend it. Be advised it is not a secured site so you would be wise not to use critical or personal data. DA

why was there a limit of 5 words put on this anyway So the game would go faster and people wouldn't end up skipping posts because it was taking them so long thinking of words. Plus... I just like to see who can follow the rules. LOTS of rebels here at the KT! lol

Al ... it's FREE if you upload to them for conversion.

You will get back an RTF file which you can open in Word.

you can get open office free
OpenOffice
the conversions can be achieved in OpenOffice 3 - there is an extension that you can download http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/pdfimport
which allows you to open pdfs directly and edit them, and with OO you can save the file to any format (odf, doc, pdf, wpd, etc)

try CUTE PDF writer, where any program that can print, you can send to virtual printer to create the pdf
