Are you on a Windows machine (versus a Mac)? If so, probably the easiest way to do it is 1. Open the PDF file with Acrobat Reader (or the PDF viewer of your choice). Zoom in on the plan so that what you want to capture is displayed. 2. Hit "Ctrl + PrtSc" to capture the current screen 3. Go to you favorite image viewer (e.g. Windows Paint) and hit "Ctrl-P" to paste the image 4. Hit "Ctrl-S" to save te image in JPEG format and then upload to your favority photo sharing site (e.g. Photobucket) Hope this helps! Good luck! Jaymie

Take a look at Zamzar.com I first used it a couple of weeks ago and my conversion is still flying around out there in cyberspace. Several members have been successful with it and do recommend it. Be advised it is not a secured site so you would be wise not to use critical or personal data. DA

Unfortunately you cannot post a pdf image - you have to convert it to an image format first. Try using this free online tool to convert it to JPEG format, then you can upload it to your photobucket album and link to it from Gardenweb. Neevia free online PDF image converter

desertsteph: yes cabinets will be above sink. eastbaymom: yes! With the Karbon faucet no less! also - planning on using the a walnut panel (matching the wall with the fridge/freezer) on the wall UNDER the eat-in counter. This way will avoid dirty marks on wall from feet. regarding eat-in counter. If it ends up sticking out a lot I think it would be better to have quite a large counter - otherwise I think it might look funny just sticking out in the middle of the wall????? One issue then is if we have the large counter at 42" it will be above the window sill....so then we would need to keep it at 36" (though DH wants it at 42") I am hoping we can keep the profile close to the wall and not sticking out. Though I guess I'd still love an eat-in nook at the window too...... so many questions!!!!! sadie here is the counter material - just waiting for the marble to clear customs before picking out my slabs
