Wow, the Evonsoft Computer Repair home page shows red on Web of Trust for all categories. Surprisingly Cnet gives it 4 stars and 16 user reviews on Cnet give it 3 stars. Not sure which I would give any credit to but with Malewarebytes, Superantispyware and Microsoft Security Essentials all getting good reports i think I would stick with known entities. That is an opinion, not necessarily a fact of course.

I have never tried ATF but it has received good comments on this forum from those who use it. Seems it is very similar to Ccleaner which is a great cleaner of unwanted odds and ends.

You could consider using Web of Trust, this program rates web sites and places green marks beside safe sites, orange for doubtful and red for known sites to aviod. Totally free too.

Evonsoft and ATF Cleaner are both available from CNET, so that means they are legit and not malware. If you want to get rid of stuff you don't need, you need to go to the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and start uninstalling programs you don't use. Are you the only user of this computer? No disrespect intended, but if you're "not sure where it came from" you or whoever else is using this machine maybe need to keep a record of what gets installed on this machine and when. Windows programs don't always play nice with each other. Not sure what "a lot of big fish games" means, but if any of these are free games you downloaded, it might be wise to uninstall any that you don't use and research all of them to determine if other users have reported problems with them. Free games often come from questionable sources.

I would stay away from Evonsoft computer repair if you did not install it even more reason to just remove it from your pc. To many bad reviews showing for it to consider recommending it.

Malwarebytes is an excellent program and so is superantispyware, I also always recommend the addition of spywareblaster which you just update weekly then hit the enable all protection button so the shield turns green no scans to do it just protects you in the background. I use WOT on all of my computers there is a version for IE and Firefox.

ATF is an excellent program also, it is one recommended often on the support and malware removal forums. It is safe and will not do any registry damage. I recommend it here often.

The big fish games should be very well scanned prior to putting them on your pc some can come with malware. It is very important to note where you are downloading them from also, many places have these games but if you get them from sources other than at the actual big fish site you may be getting one that has malware added to it. Anytime you downlaod to your pc before you open it or install it right click on the item and choose to scan it with your antivirus program and malwarebytes.

Always remember before using malwarebytes or any program to hit the update button first so you have all the latest updates.

often times when you notice things on your pc that you did not install and no one else did either it can be that it got there through malware or when you did an update for something things are sometimes checked to install along with the update you MUST watch all steps when doing any update or install and make sure you do not get any of these unwanted extras by unchecking them.

what antivirus program are you using on your pc and what firewall are you using

I took Evonsoft off, do have and pay for Avast, and not sure of the firewall as a friend who works and builds computer installed it.
