blocking of malicious malware

Every time I get on this site, since downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on this computer, every few seconds/minutes a pop-up tells me this program blocked a potentially suspecious website... I even downloaded SUPERAnti-Malware and ran scan. It detected 57 cookies and 1 trojan, have quaranteed them. Is the pop-ups just the program doing it's job or do I have a something bad still on my computer. Thank you for help.

did you buy the full version of malwarebytes? the free version would not do that since it is only run when you choose to run a scan.

It is very possible that there could be something malicious on any website including this one, many times a badly written advertisement is all it takes for the bad guys to sneak in some malware on a site. Clickjacking happens to some of the big name places even.

I assume you actually meant superantispyware right so many out there try to mimic the name of a real program we always want to make sure you do have the real deal.

AVG is a software program that cleans up viruses, similar to Norton Anti-virus and McAffee. It has a free version and a paid version. Many people, myself included, use the free version, and find it to be perfectly fine for protecting the computer from viruses. If you do not use AVG than you should not be having this issue. If you are using a different virus protection program and are getting virus alerts when you come to Gardenweb, then that's a different problem all together.

If you have the Malware Bytes professional version, it watches network traffic going in and out on your computer. It especially watches for contacts with IP addresses that are known to have viruses. It sees the IP address of gardenweb when you visit this site (208.87.149.250). MB might be flagging the address because of the popups that gardenweb sends out, but it's more likely that some other web site on the same IP address is trying to infect visitors with viruses. That one IP address hosts more than 200 web sites, including lots of porn and other shady looking places that are prime vectors for viruses. The hosting service (firstlook.com) needs to find out who is causing the problems and make them clean it up or boot them, or gardenweb could move to a host that keeps their sites clean. You probably do not have a virus, MB can't tell which of the more than 200 sites you are trying to get to, so it blocks all of them.

Thanks for responding. I originally had free version and only had one day left so bought full version. The pop-up happened with the free version and now with full version. Downloaded SUPERAntispyware by clicking on suggested link on this forum - posted here about a month ago.
Each time pops-up showes it blocked potentially malicious website and always lists it as outgoing. Also, gives website number.
Was able to put curser on latest one and this is inf. Website NO. 208.87.149.250, Port: 56272, Process: iexplore.exe. Does this information help? Another one listed all inf. as same except Port: 56363
