How to create a column with numbers 1-100

I'd like to know how to put numbers in an excel spreadsheet (although it could be a Word doc,) that go from say 1 to 100.

The reason I want this is to keep track of which Leo Laport podcasts I've listened to. I know there is an easy way to create such a list, I just don't know how.

For those of you who don't know Leo Laport I'll give a link to one of his websites. I for one, really enjoy his radio programs and podcasts.
