It looks very uneven (see left side). As tho a small brush loaded with white paint was dragged along. I think the link above makes an excellent softened edge.

Thank you for your replies. I like the uneven look as though a paint brush dipped in white was drug across the photo. That is the look I'm trying to obtain.

I did use the method you mentioned zep for my photo because that was the only one I could figure out.

Does anyone know how to obtain the look of that specific photo's edge?

I use Paint Shop Pro and that affect is achieved using a mask. Photoshop does the same....

Looks a lot like what I can do in an old Microsoft photo editing program that they don't make anymore.

It is an Art Stroke "edge" in that program.
