The pictures of game controllers are microsofts way of controlling what you buy and what will work with Direct X. If you want to play a game (don't say you will never want to game...you will never know, there is many that have made that mistake) those pictures of game controllers are Microsofts game configuration maps. Microsoft will only support those controllers approved, and they have fits when you download the game controller's own drivers wherher approved or not. This is all part of Direct X and Microsoft cornering the gaming market with the XBOX and PC...which is a multi-billion dollar market. Big...big money in gaming. Best to just leave them there. marf

Did find a manual of sorts on the Kindle -- Apps > Help & Feedback > User Guide. Wanted to know more about Music, but "Loading. Please wait..." - never did.... The other topics appeared. If I had a photogenic memory, putting a manual on an electronic device would be great. I need a printed page right next to the thing I'm trying to learn how to use! LOL I had previously looked at several links shown in the search engine for "Kindle Fire HD Owner's Manual" and other similiar wording. Found several places that wanted to sell the manual. No thanks. Just looked again and found the manual in PDF format by the nice people/person at Manual Buddy. Printed that out, but decided I'd still like to know more. (Guess there's no pleasing some people. :) ) Went shopping at (what's becoming my home away from home) Amazon and bought 2 paperbacks: My Kindle Fire HD by Jim Cheshire and Kindle Fire HD: The Missing Manual by Peter Meyers. There! If I can't learn more with bigger print and colorful pictures -- well, there's no hope for me. Ha Thanks all for your help. When I attempt to print a pdf file using the Mozilla File:Print there is a selection in the lower left of the print screen that allows you to "Print to file." Why printing to file doesn't occur for you with other types of files is peculiar. Your brand of printer may have other choices, that mine do not. Suggest you divulge more secret info, like operating system, printer name, etc.

Ok well thanks for the link..But now another question What does these two different java softwares do? or more important do I really need to have both versions? I look at the latest updated version and it looks to me like I have the latest version and could probably just remove all of the J2SE 5.0 version..But I am uncertain of that..When I look at these on my list it shows they are both rarely used..I do not know what they are or do..Any help?
