the Bosch washer offers 240 volt power rather than the LG's 120 volt, which leads to faster water heating and faster wash times. The washer can be plugged into a Bosch dryer, and the dryer plugs into a commonplace 240v/30a outlet and powers both machines with that one connection.

Asko would seem to meet your requirements. Possibly Miele also, at a somewhat higher price. Asko T712 dryer, W6222 washer, for example.

Update.. Well, a different person came here yesterday. Seemed to be more familiar with the machines.he examined very carefully and refused to leave until he solved the problem..he tried two things. He found a drop of lint ( I do mean a drop) in the gully which takes the water from the condenser and empties it into the drain.. He also tilted the dryer slightly back , by raising the feet, so the water would would be going towards the drain. I don't know which solved the problem, but ive done 4 loads of laundry, and nothing's spilling out. He examined the drain pump and the condenser and found nothing wrong with them. He ordered a new drain hose for me and agreed that by making it so short,(the last guy chopped a large portion off) it created a potential new problem it will pop out of drain when the water rushes out of washer. He also said it had nothing to do with my problem. All good news. Thank you all for your suggestions. Talk to you next time. e.

thanks suburbanmd for taking the time to respond......I thought it would be worth asking. Despite others opinion about the "pain in the a**ko's", I have really liked mine. The worst part is the lack of repairman available to work on them. I actually got the dryer working yesterday - problem was simply the switch inside the door wasn't making contact with the pin on the door. However last night it shut off and was glowing orange inside. It starts back up but with a grinding noise and the drum is very hard to turn when the machine is off. After much research into the wee hours, it could be the rolling components such as the drum roller or bearing. I do hope it is one of these as these are still available...the belt is no longer available. Any thoughts of what it could be? Do you know if a non-asko belt could be found to match the OEM belt?
