I hope you don't mind but I do have another question about those type of programs. I have never used Quick Time or itunes, they were on my computer when I had it built. My question is what are the purpose of these programs and what are they used for? Please give me an example. I was use to Media Player because of my music and I learned how to put some music into the Media Player. trying to decipher this folder options in control panel> do you mean how does one open the individual folders that appear in the control panel area? If so you double click on them. If you mean actual folder options then click on tools up at the top of control panel and then folder options to select what you want there. Or it could be the view of control panel was changed to category view over on the left you can change that. Or if you look up at the top there is a small icon for views with a drop down > beside it where you can change the appearance of the actual items in control panel. also up at the top is the folders button you might try. If none of this helps please let us know exactly what you are trying to accomplish what has changed etc for us to be of more assistance.

AR is way too much of a resource hog and is terribly difficult to remove if so desired. Stick with Foxit. During the installation you will be asked if you want Foxit to be the default for .pdf files. Approve the request. Be aware of the toolbar offer. Don't worry about the disclaimer that some functions may not work without the installation of the toolbar. For the general user everything you need will continue to work just fine. DA
