1. A picture has been scanned 2. it's been scanned to the hard drive 3. do you know where it is? 4. if no, find out. 5. if yes, start your e-mail program 6. compose your email message 7. find the "Attach File" function in your email program and attach the file to your email. 8. click "SEND"

The latest high end HP all-in-one printers have fixed ink jets and separate ink cartridges. Both types of HP printers, ink jets on the cartridge and fixed print heads, can be found. Clogging of ink jet heads has always been a big problem and that is why initially, HP started with the print head on the cartridge. It was a patented feature. Later, HP develped a way to keep fixed print heads clear, and then they began to introduce fixed print head printers. Your grainy prints can have two root causes: 1) Poor scan and resultant poor file; 2) Poor printing of a good or bad file. I have an HP flat bed scanner that is going on 10 yrs old and that is the one I rely on when I need to have total control of a scan. it has a rugged mechanism and still produces excellent results. My last two HP all-in-one printers have done excellent work when copying photos. Both of these have fixed print heads. The alignment sensor failed on my first HP all-in-one otherwise I'd still be using it. I can't complain. I had run 11,700 pages through it. I discovered that the ink cartridges were being phased out for this printer (type 02) do I decided to update to a later printer. Glad I did. Although there are fewer cartridges, color prints are just as good and the ink has better smudge resistance.

Resolve Problems Transferring Pictures If you are having problems transferring pictures from your camera, dock, printer, or card reader, try the suggestions below. § All devices. Make sure all batteries are fresh. Make sure all cables are securely connected. § Camera. If an error message indicates that no pictures are on the camera, make sure it is turned on. § Camera dock or printer dock. Remove the camera from the dock, then securely replace it. Press the dock Transfer button. § Photo printer. If printing starts but doesn't complete, press the Transfer button on the printer. § Card reader. Use only one slot at a time in a multiple-slot card reader § EasyShare software. Make sure the Kodak icon is in the lower-right corner of the desktop. If not, choose Start ® Programs or All Programs ® Kodak ® Kodak EasyShare ® Kodak EasyShare software. If EasyShare software doesn't open and display the transferred pictures, do the following: 1. Right-click the Kodak icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop. 2. Select Open and click the Add Pictures icon. 3. Select your device from the Select a location list. If the problem persists, visit www.kodak.com/go/easysharesupport. Hope you are able to resolve your problem.
