I have not heard good things about them. I belong to a crafting forum, and the gals that bought them all hate them. Many did not work right out from the box.

The ink tanks are very small. They cost less, but don't print nearly what they say they will. Quality is very poor.

Search for that particular printer at Amazon and read the many many bad reviews.

I have just purchased the Kodak ESP3 and get great results with photos. But, it uses a lot of ink. The ink cartridges are $14.95. If it keeps going down as it has for the few things I have printed, it will cost about the same as any other printer.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll wait a while before buying.

I guess you get what you pay for. I agree that the ESP3's haven't been getting good reports, but I have an ESP7 that I think the world of. I have an Epson Photo R260, a HP Deskjet 882, and an HP Photosmart 7350, and don't see much, if any, difference in the quality of the print from one to the other. I have never really counted the number of prints with any of the printers, but feel the Kodak is fairly close to what they advertise. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've had nothing but good experience with this printer. Also, the ink is different than what is used in other printers and is not supposed to fade as fast. The only thing I don't like about it is it is noisy. I have the printer wired into a wireless router and run up to four computers into it. Never had any problems so far.
