Comments (4)You need to actually need to go sit in one I love to bathe but in noway can I see that being comfortable. I also do not think a cast iron would be very easy to carry and install. IMO a nice deep soaking tub not free standing is a much better choice. Have you actually tried getting in and out of a free standing tub most are really awkward. This definately is a thing to test drive and you will need all the plumbing to be visible so expensive too....See MoreFree standing tub or built-in tub?
Comments (1)I think it depends on how you live and if you're planning for resale. I am a bath person and chose an insert so that I could have an air jetted tub, have room for candles, bath salts, etc. and for ease of cleaning around it. I was told that it can sometimes be difficult to clean around free standing tubs, especially in a smaller space. Also, we wanted a larger one as my husband enjoys it after a long day of cycling. Comments (2)Delta is a great plumbing brand. Reliable, and you can find parts anywhere. That import junk off of Amazon isn't even legal to sell here. They don't submit to lead testing or any other type of plumbing safety tests. There’s just no one left to enforce that. Tubs are the same. The good ones are not cheap.
