I don't think I'd want to try it. Be afraid the napkin would jam in the printer or if it's 2 ply, would come apart. Might depend on the quality of the napkin. Not familiar with your printer but I don't think my HP PhotoSmart P1000 would pull a napkin. Imprinting on napkins is usually done with a foil heat stamp machine. How about getting a rubber stamp made, they have inkpads in all kinds of colors now. If you get brave and it works in the printer, let us know. Jill

Without knowing how many $ you have tied up in cartridges on hand vs the price of the refurb printer, your plan is still a bit of a gamble. Depending on where the refurb is coming from, you're getting something that someone else has used for several years. I'd be hesitant, especially if there is no warranty. Are you wanting an identical printer because the old one was so good, or because you were comfortable with your ability to use it? If the former, an identical model is no guarantee of the same quality. If the latter, a new printer shouldn't be that difficult to learn, and you might find a deal (especially now) that would offset what you'll be losing on the old cartridges. You don't mention which OS you are using, but there are still many new printers available that have drivers for both XP & Vista. Do some shopping if you haven't already. I bought a cheap point-and-shoot digital camera last year, and it came with an excellent Epson printer-scanner-copier that was free.

I found this in a google.com search: In IE Browser, go to File--> Page Setup --> in the Page Setup window, have Group box name as "Header and Footer" under this "Footer" text box in text "&u&b&d" will availble. Just remove the "&u" then automatically URL will remove from Bottom of the Printed Page. And this: Go to "File", "Page Setup...", then erase the text in the "Headers and Footers text boxes. (The default for header is &w&bPage &p of &P and for footer &u&b&d if you need to put it back later.

I have the same 3 in 1 printer. When you scan, it asks the destination, select File and then hit the button with the right arrow - this displays a list of computers that are connected to your WLAN. Your DH's name is probably the first on on the list, and yours the second. Down arrow to your computer name and then hit OK.
