Well, the recession is still going strong, so the recession gardens should be, too. Have you checked out the rise in food prices? If you wish to use IE it is in your best interest to use IE8 as it is the most secure version released. I just worked on an Acer laptop with XP SP3 today for an unrelated issue. The owner didn't report any IE concerns to me nor did I experience any while connected to the Internet. She also has the current version of Firefox available. I try not to work on any system without it having a second browser as a backup. Having one available could save myself and the owner a lot of unnecessary grief. From my readings it is predicted IE9 will be released somewhere in the next twelve months, as early as December 2010. Nothing firm yet though. DA

Ok I downloaded the malwarebytes and ran a full scan; went to bed because it was taking so long. Got up today and saw it had completed the scan and it found 4 items. So I clicked to remove them and it said to restart the computer. Before I did, I copied what the notepad said. Then restarted the computer. Unfortunately, when I restarted the computer, I was unable to get an internet connection so I got worried that I deleted an important program and clicked restore on the malbyte menu. Then when that didnt work, I called for tech support and spent the last hour & a half on the phone with technical support both with Microsoft and ATT Tech Support. Nothing was working. To make a long story short, the end result - I disconnected the modum, turned off the computer completely.....let it sit for about 3 mins and then plugged the modum back in; waited for all the lights to come on steady and then I restarted the computer. Everything seems to be working now, I can access the internet (obviously, since I'm posting here) and I went back to the malwarebytes program and copied what the note pad said. Not sure if this is different from what it said after the initial scan, before I clicked on "restore deleted items". I noticed a while ago many comments were deleted, not just mine. I'm glad. I feel that someone obviously felt his ideas were under attack and made a big mistake by digging in his heels instead of making sure of his facts....and after all it was not me that barged onto someone else's thread and started an argument with no proof. I never went after anyone and I think any honest person would admit that the facts are exactly what I said they were. Your comments throughout however have been personal and I certainly haven't misconstrued that, but thank you for giving up on interjecting rude comments and expressing your 'dislike' of me and especially for the blatant call for me to join the email clique you founded to 'take it outside' which any reasonable person could see had no other reason for existence other than to spit on me.
