if you did the update to IE8 it does a sneaky little trick when it installs and has caused many to have a problem like that where it wants to keep Ie as default. Try this Make sure IE is closed In firefox Click Tools, Options, then click the Advanced icon in the Options toolbar. Click the General tab if it's not already selected, then make sure Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup is enabled. Click Check Now, then confirm that you want to make Firefox your default browser. Click OK. go into your IE settings and uncheck the box to check to see if IE is default browser that should stop it from continuing to ask you. you should go ahead and do this also Start button --> Set Program Access and Defaults "Custom" option selected. Click on the downward arrows to the right of Custom. Under "Choose a default Web browser" select Mozilla Firefox. Click on OK. you may want to check this link and the further instructions at the bottom on the link for if that did not work. I would definitely get and use malwarebytes it is one of the top products we use on the support forums to clean the hardest infections. Right-click the filename in Windows Explorer, select Properties, where it says "opens with" click the Change button, select the program you want to open the file with, click OK then Apply and that should do it. This is for XP, Vista is probably similar but you didn't mention which one you are using. Don't bother with MSWorks unless you want to register it. If you are going to be using OO, you probably won't need MSWorks at all.

I have an LG Tromm Washer/Dryer combo, which, though a different model than the LG Steamwashers, seems to have a lot of the same features. On my wash machine, there is a customizeable cycle. I believe you can only have one. There is a button that says "Custom Program" under the "Delay Wash" button. You just make your selections and press and hold the Custom Program button for 3 seconds, until you hear two beeps. The custom program is then set and stored for future use. To use it in the future, you just push the button. Sadly, my model does not have an interior light. Although I wish it did.
