Exporting you contacts to the tablet would keep the intact on your PC, but I'm not 100% sure about keeping everything synced. I _think_ you would have to make any additions, deletions, or changes on the PC and then export them to the tablet. The easiest solution might just to be a migration to Gmail. That might make even more sense if you anticipate adding an Android phone down the line. You can make Gmail pretty darn secure by enabling Google's security feature which requires not only a password but also a PIN that Google can text or call you with to a preassigned phone number. Along with Gmail comes Google Docs, a modest office suite of applications and the ability to store documents from your desktop. The nice thing about "cloud" applications is there's no need to syncs - everything is available everywhere. The drawback is that you need an Internet connection.

I have W 7 and WLM and I direct my server's email through WLM and I don't have any idea why yours does that, mine doesn't. I don't have an account with live, I don't like to join everything, especially social medias. You might try opening your email and the contacts listed there and try to add a contact and see if the same thing happens to it.

I should have also said: Be sure you know which folder your browser is set to for downloaded files. Change it to another if you would find that easier to work with (I create a "c:\downloads" folder on all my PCs. I point all browsers to that folder, so that I don't need to crawl down too many levels to find files) The file that will be in whatever folder you download to, that you'll attach to an email, is named: yahoo_ab.csv You should maybe first double check that it came out ok by navigating to it using Windows Explorer and then opening it with whatever spreadsheet program you use.

Are you sure you finished the group set up? It should show up under your Window Contacts either from the Windows Mail screen or by clicking Start--Programs--Window Contacts. Bob
