One reason I haven't bought some of the gardening CDs I crave is that they aren't for North American consumption. Some really good gardening stuff from Britain is only available for the British/European format. (The Quest for the Rose had this problem for a video, way back when) Could your source have gotten the reader that works in another part of the world?

IF you have the original file from Movie Maker - you can put that into Roxio. I know there are several different versions of "Roxio" - but this is how I do it on mine. I open up DVD Builder - and add the "movie". I take out the Roxio intro - drives me nuts, LOL THen I burn the "Movie Maker" slideshow to DVD. WOrks great! I love using Movie Maker - the only drawback is that it doesn't burn to DVD. WHen I create the Movie Maker project, in step 3 - Save To Computer - I choose "Other Settings" - High Quality Video (NTSC) - then I burn onto DVD, that saved project using Roxio. Hope this is clear - LOL! I am not sure it makes any sense to anyone but me?

Ok I don't know where you have looked so I will start from the beginning. Go to start, control panel, add remove programs, let it complete the list and look there for Roxio, if it is there you can select it and choose delete. go to start, all programs, look through the list of programs there and look for Roxio, right click it to find your options to run, uninstall etc. right click start, explore, go to the program files, open look there for Roxio folder. go to start, search, search for roxio in all files on your pc. Those are the most common ways to try to find something. Roxio is a popular program and yes it did come bundled in many computers so that very well may be how it got on your pc it came with it, and it may be that you never used it so it has never been activated which would be why you don't "see" it. Try that and let us know what you turn up.

I've never used PhotoStory but found these instructions online. Make sure your computer has a DVD burner and that it is working. If the instructions below don't work, open Nero (which I also don't use) and create a copy by dragging the file into a new burn project window. Other than that, can't help you much. Good luck. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD burner. On the Save your story page, click Save your story for playback on your home DVD player. Click Next to temporarily save the photo story. On the Completing Photo Story for Windows page, click Continue and save your story to a DVD for playback on your home DVD player. In the Create a DVD dialog box, do the following: * In the DVD Title box, type a title for your DVD. * In the Video Title box, type a title for the photo story video. * If you have more than one DVD burner installed on your computer, make sure that you choose the correct DVD burner. Click Create DVD. The time it takes to save the story to DVD is determined by the overall performance of your computer system, the length of your story, and the recording speed of your DVD burner. In the Disc Create Complete dialog box, click No to close the dialog box, If you want, save the project for your story. To save the project, click Save Project, and then in the File name box, type a name for your project, and then click Save. By saving the project for your story, you can later open the project in Photo Story 3 and make additional changes, and then save it to your computer or save it to another recordable DVD.
