Help me out please.

Forget my other post, I have a new problem.

I downloaded a movie clip online and it was a quicktime movie and I saved it to my desktop. It played fine in Quicktime. It didn't have a format on the file so I added a .wmv to the end of the file name's icon. So it was in wmv format. I also tried a bunch of different formats too because of the problem per below.

I also tried converting my files here: http://media-convert.com/.

After the format was changed it wasn't recongnised by Quicktime as a video file and it wouldn't play it. So whatever. I tried it in my other players like videolan (vlc), real player, windows' player and all kinds, I don't remember all the names. I think it was at this point that the audio was all messed up and didn't play correctly while the video was playing. I don't know if it was fast or just messed up.

Either that's when it got messed up or when I tried putting my movie clip into Windows Movie Maker (b/c I wanted to download the other clips of the whole movie) and the program said there was no codec so then I went and downloaded k-lite codec bundle.

Anyway, the sound is all messed up in all the players and the movie maker.

This is so complicated when I just wanted to make one little movie.

I'm not sure if I follow you because it's early and I'm still half asleep. Renaming a file will not change the format. Try removing the .wmv and replace it with .mov, which is a quicktime format.

changing it to .mov won't let it be played anywhere else besides quicktime and the point is that I converted it to be able to be accepted by windows movie maker.

Hi Would agree with that They are winter dormant though there is an evergreen type but leaves are very different . Very nice specimen but you have to put up with "sausages" for a time .lol gary

It has a distinct orange flare to it-- definitely not a true red. Before the blooms open, it is pinkish-orange in color but very striped (pink/orange/white/green)-- as if it won't even have one solid color to it. however, when it does bloom, within an hour or two it goes completely orange-- it is amazing to see, actually. The blooms also take a while to open-- it looks as if the flower will explode when it finally does let loose and for a flower, it pretty much does burst open. My wife and I were having lunch this past saturday when the second one opened and it sent pollen all over the table! Consequently, I cut the stalk off the bulb because the bulb, though it has roots, was shrinking quickly and I thought it would be better to save the bulbs strength so I chopped it. I put the still blooming stalk in water with sugar at the bottom and it is continuing to bloom well.

Ok, Thanks guys. I think they want singles that are huge. I'm on the hunt for Super Nova and Peace. I have MEM I'll send them. Ruth Ann my MEM is huge also. I can't imagine what a larger one looks like.. LOL

Do you still have the original unedited/unchanged file saved somewhere.
You should work with a copy, never the original. Just like pictures.
That way if you mess it up, you can make a new copy and start over.

From the original file, change it to an .avi file.
Then you can import it into Windows Movie Maker.
