The Eagles sucked this year but I will enjoy the SB without having a heart attack since my team is not in it.

I'd also like to get on my soapbox a bit here. A couple years ago when the Phillies were in the World Series, I posted a similar "go Phillies" post here. Someone (I don't remember who, but a regular)scolded me for my post saying if it's something not everyone can share in, then I shouldn't be posting it. I was taken aback and offended at the time. I am glad to see this post here now to prove that even though some are more interested that others, we all love to follow the championships.

Funny thing here is, I don't even like football! LOL I have absolutely NO CLUE what is going on in a football game, unless a touchdown is scored! Last night I was watching and asking Tim to explain it to me....too many rules! LOL

Anyone remember the episode of Friends when Joey was going to host a game show called "Bamboozled"? Well that is what football is like to me!

I have to tell you, I used to live in Indiana,(graduated from indiana University) and my DD and DSIL have season tickets to the Colts games, so of course I will be rooting for the Colts and Peyton Manning. I probably will be in the minority here though. LOL. Good luck to both teams!

Adding my congrats to both teams! I still can't believe Farve tossed that last pass instead off running and sliding for a few more yards! Sherry, I've been a big fan of the Colts and the Manning brothers for years...I like Green Bay too and that's coming from a die hard Vikings fan. LOL!!

We saw the Manning House in the NO Garden District. Favre, Saints, Manning, it all comes back to NOLA!

Thanks! Christy had warned me ahead of time that if the Saints won she'd be crying for her father who passed away about ten years ago and didn't live to see them getting good. Heck, we both cried a bunch of times and I'm so happy for New Orleans. Her sister didnt get her paper this morning and was mad because she wanted to save it. She kept trying to call the Times Picayune...lol.. that's funny that she thought they'd be working in the office. Anyway, they ran out of papers and are doing a second large printing that will be available tomorrow.

I can just see her Father and his brothers cheering the Saints on. We have everything ready for our Superbowl gumbo.

I don't like sports at all, but I sure watched this with her to support and share with her.

I cried for my Daddy last night, too. And, everytime I think about this win, I start crying again. I'm crying right now.

That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. Isn't every post inherently something that not everyone would be interested in? ESPECIALLY on the conversations page?

Anyway, I like football ok and we may or may not be going to a SB party. If we go, I probably won't watch more than five minutes of the game, gotta sociallize you know. If we don't I'll probably watch more of it. But honestly, I'm more interested in the commercials! LOL
