Taunia, Reader is still free. Download HERE from Adobe. I didn't know full Acrobat was ever free, but I think there are some other PDF writer softwares out there that are free. Try a google search. Jill

That's what puzzles me, I don't see a pdf file listed. I've copied (see below)what I received from my contact. She says that she sends this email to about 50 addresses and I'm the only one that has a problem with it. There is no pdf icon anywhere in the email. Sounds like there is something wrong with what you are trying to download and not an Adobe problem. Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader or try the small free Foxit Reader 2.0 for Windows which works well for PDF files. At least you could narrow down the problem whether file or reader.

Reboot Windows. Review the log those entries should be gone, if not run HJT in the Safe Mode. 04 entries start everytime windows starts these entries are unnecessary the rest of the log is good. Again I see no Firewall, usually a firewall would show in the 023 entries like Avast because it runs on windows as a service. FYI Hijackthis creates backups if any functionally is lost you can restore the entry that was removed by opening HJT and click review list of back ups there you will see all the 04 Entries that were removed and have to option to restore that entry. Never use HJT with out instruction it's advisable to remove the program when finished through the add/remove programs feature.
