Thanks but it is still out at 5pm and considering that Comcast is one of the largest email providers in the country, you'd think some major news organization would be on this. The outage is all over the internet but no one has any real information.

It's not news that email is now a vital means of communication for most people. When there is such a widespread and lengthy outage, someone should be keeping users updated. Multiply the numbers directly affected by all those who may not have Comcast but are not receiving replies--that's a lot of people.

Don't forget that this is Saturday, and the media don't overextend themselves on the weekend, imho.
