Comcast email out all day--any info?

Comcast email has been out all day, it appears nationwide. It's now 4pm Eastern Time and no news on Comcast's website--just that there is a problem. This is affecting so many people--does anyone here know anything about what's going on?

I love to sleep late and have sex at least twice a day. but I never get any of this. Trials and errors are the best teacher. As some suggested you can google the information you need but the danger the information is so contradicting each other it will confuse you more. For example the link for growing pepper above gets you to Ohio State U. They say in growing pepper use 12-12-12 fertilizer or one with high nitrogen content. From my experience gained by trial and errors high nitrogen content will give huge green plant and no or little fruit and the nitrogen number has to be the lowest. Did I say confusing it is.

Hi barefoot_contessa, Carrie, You might want to check your review thread and contact the member there who has had trouble reaching you. I can't remember if we discussed that is a private email or not. I see our last emails were April 27th but the review was written April 13th....under the thread with your name spelled correctly. I use Road Runner for my email and I have to log in to see if I have Junk emails because sometimes Road Runner will place an email from a forum I post in, and place it in the Junk Folder. So anytime I post in the forum and expect a reply, I have to check Road Runner to see if it went in the Junk file. I check Road Runner every time I get email during the day. If the junk file gets a lot of junk emails, I have to empty it to keep it from building up.

many of the ISP's are doing that, if you do a google search of port 587 or port 25 or a search of your ISP name and the specific port you will see many entries, for some they were told it was due to a possible virus on their pc that was sending out a lot of spam mail, however that is not necessarily the case which is quite misleading and could cause some novice users a lot of trouble trying to find out what virus and how to clean it when in fact the real reason they wanted them to change was their new policies which is what they should have stated to everyone. Making some think they have infections when they don't is not right. I am happy to see they were not trying to tell you that you were infected. Glad it was helpful to you.

Thanks but it is still out at 5pm and considering that Comcast is one of the largest email providers in the country, you'd think some major news organization would be on this. The outage is all over the internet but no one has any real information.

It's not news that email is now a vital means of communication for most people. When there is such a widespread and lengthy outage, someone should be keeping users updated. Multiply the numbers directly affected by all those who may not have Comcast but are not receiving replies--that's a lot of people.

Don't forget that this is Saturday, and the media don't overextend themselves on the weekend, imho.
