I'm having one of those moments. Feeling stupid! Today I got the BSOD that included instructions to disable all antivirus, auto defrag, etc, etc, and run CHKDSK /F. I disabled everything that I could find an option for, but can't find any option for disabling AVG 8.0. Trying to run CHKDISK /F gives me a message that the volume can't be accessed because it is in use by another program...... which I imagine is probably AVG? Any advice or pointers greatly appreciated.
