Di..you've got that man/woman work thing down to an art and obviously have created your own space in a male dominated workplace. I think it takes awhile to figure it all out,but you have. I worked in the same type of situation for years,but dealing with musicians/luthiers,the vast majority being male since this was the Celtic,Folk,and Bluegrass genre. So many great memories and funny stories and lots of tip toeing around when trying to tell a guy he had the wrong finish on his mandolin and needed to strip it and do it again,or gently trying to show a novice guitar builder that the spacing was off on his bridge. What do women know anyway? Then there was a guy who had an awful buildup of residue on his banjo hardware and I told him to soak his nuts in vinegar for a little while. Oh those were the days.

So Becky, is the pepper jelly used mainly as a glaze for meats? I've got a batch of Linda Lou's Cereal Bars in the oven that I made with some of my homemade Ginger Peach Jam from last year. When I first made the jam, I didn't like the chunks of candied ginger in it, but it seems like the flavor got better over time. Anyway, I'm going camping tomorrow, and thought those would be perfect for breakfast. Can't wait until it cools down enough to make soups and chili again ... but not before my tomatoes are ripe, LOL!

Here is the listing from whocrashed. I see that it refers to avast antivirus. When I initially tried to install my new IE* I believe that I had disabled Avast for 10 minutes. But I admit that I have forgotten to disingage it in all of my other actions. I will send this and perhaps I will have time to use your routine above to try uninstalling ie8 again with avast disabled and get back again. If I had any sense, I would have tried system restore. I haven't really done that much with this computer and it likely would have done the trick in the first place. This old thread was just linked in another post. Yet another thing on my mind today... Our KD currently has no toe kick on our island. I think it will get used on one side or both for prep, so I don't think this is necessarily a good idea. It initially had something to do with the end panel, since we're having two back to back cabinets on the island. But I think most people do, so that shouldn't be an issue. One end will be seating and the other can be flush. But the two long edges should have toe kicks, I think. I began to question this once I saw that not having a toe kick cost an extra $55 per cabinet x 4. Plus, I believe with this look that molding is run around the entire perimeter, and THAT's the stuff that adds up cost-wise. As we've been considering this, DH and I have both tried prepping at the end of our existing peninsula, and I don't think not having a toe kick would be bad. And we have two, exploding Australian Shepherds that make me think less toe kicks could be a good thing overall. So many decisions...
