When you talk about deleting Active X, do you really mean disable it in Internet Explorer? Active X is a set of helper programs that make things work together better on your PC, but they also affect security. You can go into your settings in the Tools / Internet Options tab of Internet Explorer and make changes to the settings. But there are trade-offs, and the more you disable Active X, the more annoying it may become to surf the Internet. When you get the message "Internet Explorer is not responding" what you usually do is close it and reopen it. Or, you could use a browser like Firefox that may have fewer problems.
