I would casually talk about the height my baking soda and vinegar bottle rocket reached at the last city competition.

I would let them think what they want. I use baking soda for toothpaste occasionally, but not in the shower.

My nieces used to think it was funny that I brought bathtub toys with me when I would come to visit and lay them out on the dresser. They thought they were going to get to play with them, but instead they found out that I was going to wear them as jewelry.

Switch out the olive oil for Wesson and add a can of whipped cream.

Keep adding odd things. Put a head of lettuce in there, and then a can of motor oil. See how much you can weird them out! You could have a lot of fun with this.

I think I'd also be adding to the collection, start with Jessica's whipped cream, progress to the motor oil, then maybe a riding crop and rubber boots.

It could be a LOT of fun.....

Well I guess I could put the mini-fridge in the bathroom to keep some of the cryptic items mentioned along with wine.

Tricia, baking soda mixed with facial cleanser in my hand is an exfoliator. The soda water is for the final hair rinse; keeps my hair from being so frizzy due to my hard water.

That sounds like a good tip.

What fun to let kids imaginations grow. I like the ideas of adding other interesting things next time they are visiting.

While you are at it, you could add a coffee bar to your bathroom with an espresso/cappuccino machine built into the wall - they are becoming very popular these days, especially in houses where the master bathroom is far from the kitchen or on a different floor.

Jessy, our EJ, gave me a tube of Dead Sea mud mask as a gift from her trip to Israel. I kept it in the shower to use on my face until I realized that I was thinking about her every time I saw it. While I love this dear friend, I thought it was too creepy.

Another vote for a coffee bar in the shower!

Cathy, I put a Culligan filtered shower head in my guest bath, which I've been using since the master is being remodeled. It works very well.

This is too funny. I have coconut oil and lentil flour in my shower. Never thought about what my cleaning lady must think. Don't have nephews or nieces old enough to wonder but that would not be in a few years. DD did see a woman's razor at the grocery last month and after being shocked that women shave has been sharing her new found wisdom with other 3rd graders:) I am avoiding school until the memory fades.

Cathy- I am with others wo suggested that you mess with them a bit.. Will go down as a great joke in the family memory.

I have on occasion had salt and or baking soda in the shower. Baking soda mixed with shampoo will remove hair spray build up and leave your hair squeaky clean.
