I have a story, but it isn't funny. We have a little yorkie-poo. She was less than a year old when she got sick. She had a few stomach issues and they did a poop culture (sorry!), and found some type bacteria. Treated that but within a couple of weeks, she started vomiting one evening. She had never done this and after a couple of times I called our vet. Because of her small size (she's only 9 lbs. now fully grown) they had us bring her in so she wouldn't get dehydrated. They examined her, pumped her full of fluids and suggested we watch her closely overnight. The fluids and some meds helped with the vomiting but by early morning she was vomiting again. We got up, dressed and ready to get her to the vet their opening time. They did an x-ray and showed us that something was showing in her digestive track. Something she had ingested. I remembered that she had torn one of her little toys and although I never saw any stuffing out of the toy, I knew there was stuffing and we just assumed she had eaten that. They had to do emergency exploratory surgery. I bawled my eyes out. The next day when we were allowed to *visit*, the vet showed me the PLASTIC MEAT WRAPPER that she had eaten. It was to a pretty critical point, it had started through her intestines. The vet was wonderful, even took our little baby home with her overnight to keep a close eye on her and the pup came through the surgery with flying colors. And a nice little *zipper* down her belly. Hubby and I both felt awful. We didn't know she had gotten the wrapper. We figured that she had quickly grabbed it out of the garbage (which was behind a closed door, but if she saw us put something in there she'd jump up to investigate) and gotten away with it without us seeing. The stick on label on the plastic wrapping was what we were seeing on the x-ray. Alot of tears and $$$ over a meat wrapper! She's not interested in the garbage anymore (she was just a puppy then) thankfully, but we are even more cautious when throwing something away! I never throw away a meat wrapper now without putting it in another bag and tying it up first. Our pup too watches tv. It's hilarious. There was an M&M commercial that she didn't like. Now she doesn't like the Weight Watchers commercial where they have the little orange monster (hungry). She knows by the very first sound of that commercial that it's THE ONE and immediately starts barking. She barks at most dogs she sees on tv, other than cesear. Maybe because he's little like her. tina

"I like the idea about putting the PC in the closet, but I'm wondering if the closet would be big enough (2 bi-fold doors - 4 foot opening and then almost 6.5 feet of space inside and about 3.5 feet deep)." If your closet is 3.5' deep you have plenty of room to put in a computer desk. I am not talking about having you to work inside the closet. Just having the desk and shelves in the closet. Then you open the bifold doors and pull up a chair and pull out the keyboard tray from the desk. You would have lots of breathing room. You wouldn't be *inside* the closet at all. You could keep all the peripherals off to the side in the closet behind the wall that you say you have for storage in the closet. When you are done move the chair back and pull the closet doors closed. All the paperwork mess is hidden. You could build a custom desk and shelving as another option. If you really want to put a TV on the room, why not consider puttting the TV on the wall above the dresser rather than having the mirror. Could this work for you? You have a connecting bathroom with a mirror to use and probably do not need another huge mirror a few steps away in the bedroom. Mirrors in bedrooms are bad Feng Shui anyway, then again, so are having TVs in the bedroom, but if it fits your lifstyle then do it. You could also get a matching modular entertainment center put the TV in it and use the drawers for your socks and sweaters. There is no rule that says you have to use the drawers for media related items.

The one thing I don't like in our 3 year old kitchen is the range hood - it isn't bad but wish I had pushed the envelope for a better one - whatever that is. I thought about a chimney but I thought it would look weird in my space. I have the Broan evolution 3 (or something like that). It is a screen filter which can go in the DW. It can boost to 350 which is over the city limits for MUA but it requires me to boost it to get to that level.(and I didn't figure out how to boost it for a couple of years - it helps to read the manual - LOL). There is only one fan on the left side and my big pasta pot goes on the right, so I think I would be happy with a more powerful one with 2 fans instead of one. I have induction and figured I didn't need a powerful hood. It isn't a bad hood and it works - just would like more power when cooking fish so I don't smell it the next day. I also didn't want to deal with MUA. I only went with a 36 for a 36 inch cooktop - I wish I had gone 42 but didn't find the GW before I had already ordered the cabinets. If you can still do it - I would get a 36 for your 30 inch cooking area. But in comparison with our noisy old OTR MW hood - this is a major improvement. It is much quieter and works a LOT better - so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Since the radiator was recently replaced, it could be nothing more than a leak at the lower radiator hose connection. Another hard to see leak I have encountered: Heater hose at the hot end where it connects to the engine. Often this end of the heater hose has a 90 deg bend right after the connection nipple. The hose then runs back to the fire-wall and to the heater. Along this run, there may be a bypass valve that diverts the flow back to the return hose. I have seen a slit develop (in the circumferential direction) on the underside of this bend. It leaks none to little until the hose is raised a bit and then it pours. This leak hides and leaks a bunch when the car goes over a bump in the road that causes the hose to bounce up. A similar leak can develop on the underside of the overflow hose, usually near a connection nipple or at bends - anywhere the hose material is strained. This one is bad because it disables the function of the overflow bottle and allows air to enter the cooling system upon shut down and cooling.
