I've read several posts similar to this one and I don't understand what all the fuss is about. If I wanted to reply to a Craigslist email, I could do it in about 6 seconds with a few mouse clicks and not have to make any changes to the browser at all, nor would I need to install any type of a plug-in that might not be supported the next time the browser gets updated. Right-click the Craigslist email address Select Copy E-Mail Address with a left-click Open a new Tab-go to your AOL EMail Click Compose Right-click in the To: field and left--click to PASTE the email address you just copied a moment ago. What could be easier? Sometimes the problems encountered by users wanting to make everything work with one click are better solved by using what is already available to you. It's not that hard, and you just might learn something useful along the way.

is it (Internet Explorer) showing in add remove programs? Start>control panel> add remove programs> do you see it listed there? if so click to hilight and then try a repair there. If no go then re download and re install it really helps us though if you do answer the questions we ask, I know I have asked if you have firefox, and what scans you have done and if you have used malwarebytes. It is hard to know which way to go with out info. I understand you have DSL with ATT and they provide free certain AV programs, I also get free McAfee with my ISP but I had to go in, download and install it, and personally set it all up and make sure it was all functioning it did not come pre-configured or installed, so knowing what you actually have and how it is set up and if it is updated are all things that are important. Malware is any type of spyware, adware, or nefarious programs that can get onto your computer, there fore a malware remover would be one that removes all these types of infections. Antivirus programs do not necessarily remove them. AdAware is not as good a program as it once was so it is not the best one to use, the malwarebytes program I provided the link to is an exceptional free program that will remove the most recent malware types. Often we do see malware that will cause problems like you are mentioning which is why we have been asking these questions. Awaiting further answers. anyone still using IE6 on their computer is seriously jeopardizing the safety of their pc, MS stopped updating IE6, it is essential to update to a newer version asap. Websites are no longer supporting IE6 so many things will not work. The most important thing however is the huge holes in IE6 that are no longer being patched which leave you wide open to nasties. If you insist on not doing IE8 then definitely at the very least get IE7 NOW Windows Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP Please understand that leaving IE6 on your pc and simply using a different browser does NOT necessarily help in blocking your exposure. Downloading and installing IE7 will take care of that so would IE8. Then if you choose to use firefox instead you are good to go but definitely update from IE6.
