Net book advice.

When net books came out I wanted one but I have a PC and laptop. Then the Kindle came out and I wanted that. Then, the iPad! I certainly can't affford all of them but I am disappointed that I bought the laptop. I thought I wanted a large screen when I chose it but after lugging it around on a few vacations, and the fact that I won't carry it into stores with WiFi leaves me really wanting something small and easily portable. I will never pay for a phone with all the features most people seem to feel they need and are willing to pay for. I use my cell for very occasional calls, mostly on vacation. So, I guess I should choose a net book because I will need to take it with me to find a WiFi area. I would appreciate information and suggestions regarding what makes a good net book. I will probably use it mostly to search the net and for email. I want good speed, the ability to read ebooks, and convenient Google sessions. I want it to be set up for WiFi so I don't have to agonize about doing that myself.

So, any suggestions?

Thanks,

Nancy
