buehl- I use CA, not Home Designer bu many tools are similar. I took a look at the list for you. The things that might be important and are in Architectural but lacking or limited in the other two are: (- soso; **might be important as in I wouldn't live without them.) -Use the Rendering Techniques tools to create artistic views of your designs like Watercolor, Technical Illustration, and Vector Views (vector views are oddly missing from interior version these are the fast cartoon looking views but it means you can't do B & W line drawn perspectives) -Record Walkthroughs with the stylized views of Rendering Techniques -Improved Lighting Units. Choose from common wattage/lumens values for lights or specify custom values. **Fully editable dimension lines, and configurable dimension editing. Change where dimensions locate walls, windows, doors, and other objects, both when generating dimensions automatically or manually **Create Elevation, Wall Elevation, and Cross Section Views for the interior and exterior of your design **Advanced Cabinet Tools - attach moldings & hardware, angled front cabinets, and more (interiors molding only) **Design and edit Custom Countertop shapes and styles -some stair tools tools My take is architectural or don't bother and use something else like learn SU. Basic is free. (I'm not as enamored with it as some folks but I do know some builders and architects that like it and have the full ver$ion with plugin$- I already have time and $$ in a ton of software that suits so never mess with it much, just to make doors and an occasional "model" to import into something else.)

I've been using my 36" BS for over 2 months now and I continue to find reasons why I love it. It is most definitely a range built for those who love to cook. The high BTU is excellent and I finally bought my wok 2 weeks back and it's simply amazing on the 22K. But that simmer burner... I have yet to burn rice and it makes warming up small amounts of baby food a breeze, even if I walk away and completely forget about it (which seems to happen quite often with the kids). From what I've read on the appliance forum, there really isn't another simmer burner that works like this. I also must comment about how easy it's been to clean. The cast iron grates are a dream compared to my old porcelain and enamel tops. A few wipes or a dry scrub and they are done. I've yet to use any cleaners aside from a soapy sponge on it. Lastly, my oven does come with 3 (not 2) racks, one of which is a full-extension roll-out. My one complaint is that the oven door and knobs get quite warm to touch, hot even, when the oven is on full blast. This topic has been discussed to death over on the appliance forum, so I won't go into it. I really wanted to get the Bosch 800 plus series, but we had to compromise somewhere. If you can trim 1K somewhere else, this is the package I'd go for. Good luck!

What do you people cook in your ovens? Bowling balls? Heh heh. You must be pulling out 30lb turkeys daily if the weight of your pans is that huge of a concern. I only cook turkeys once a year (for which my family thanks me) and only on the big green egg, so we decided on a range with two ovens and a warming cabinet because of the space we gained as well as the look. Our ovens have drawers below them so they aren't on the floor and when I do use them I am able to safely open and check the food without being in danger of burning my nose. We had wall ovens in the old house and hated them, as well as the gas cook top, which IMO is just a horrific waste of space. Now in our new house we have that same crappy set up and will be yanking it out as soon as possible. But we will still only cook turkeys rarely. As a pure ergonomics issue though, it is always better to lift up verses lift from chest level so for me....I just don't get why people put the stove up on the wall. Much like the drawer microwave...it just feels unsafe. And ummm they are ugly. Ok IMO but really, I hate big electronics and plastic in the middle of a wall. (I feel the same way about big screen tvs).

Neither is going to grow so many feet and then remain frozen in size, of course. And size representations coming from commercial sources in particular tend to be for what is believed to be representative or typical development - after comparatively short periods of time. So if a kind gets 5 ft. tall, chances are you are going to see it 7 ft. tall at some point. Its finer textured, fuller, more compact form lends itself to use in smaller planting areas and gives the height as 5-6 ft. Add another foot of growth and you're at 6-7 ft. When I've seen it at outlets here the 'Bailhalo' had a quite apparently more dense appearance, which could easily be seen as a superior attribute.
