Dec 3rd An early gift and setting...

This afternoon, our dil gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, 8lbs. 9 oz. It is her 4th and largest, she is a tiny girl!

It is an early gift for us, and we are thankful to God for this blessing!

Tonight..shrimp francaise, rice and cauliflower.

The rocking horses are ornaments I got last year at Pottery Barn right before Cmas for 70% off.

Congratulations, Grandma! I know you have been eagerly awaiting his arrival. Glad that he and Mom are doing okay? Will you get to go see him soon? Hope so.

So you celebrated with a special dinner? Looks so yummy too. I love the little rocking horse, and your santa candleholder too. Looks very festive and pretty.

Ciao Nicky- I received my parcel on American Thanksgiving, so that was extra super because Duane was home and got to share in the surprises! You really outdid yourself this year with the care and consideration you gave to the inventory list and the quality of the seeds. This is a smaller swap than some of the others that I participate in, but you managed to fill 11 wishes off of my edibles list! That's VERY impressive! The quality of the flowers was also better than ever before, so thank you very much and consider yourself hugged by me!

I'm so excited to see so many people can attend! And so relieved Husky was able to chage her flight!!! (Even if she did mess up my name!!!) :) It's great to have all our repeat atendees as well as some new faces!! Let's do Sunday since a few people prefer that day...so it'll be June 4th then! Anyone have a preference on time? Maybe 11am? Let me know if that's ok for everyone or if people prefer a later time. I started some major garden renovations this weekend, so we may still be under construction when you all get here. I'm hoping to have them finished by then though!! We'll ready for plants at least!! :) Magicman and deprived wife and any other newcomers, if you have any other questions, feel free to keep posting them here or email me (or any of us who have attended previously) and we'll be happy to help you out. I'm going to start a new thread where you can post what you have and what you want. I would also strongly suggest listing it under your garden_web trade list as well! Congratulations to the parents, grand parents, uncles, aunts, cousins... I love to hear about new lives!

Your table decor is wonderful and I love your pictures but... what about the recipe? It's only 8 in the morning and I'm hungry ;-)))

Yup, it was a good day for me, too. No work crisis, the decorating is coming along, people are in pretty good moods... Not bad at all.

Congratulations on your big little grandson! And so glad to hear his Mommy is doing better, sounded a bit scary.

Your table setting is so pretty and what a great idea to use the rocking horse ornaments as napkin rings. I have to admit I went out last week looking for some, but didn't have any luck. And I love your Santa candleholder. And those plaid napkins! I am so into plaid this Christmas. LOL And your dinner looks delicious.
