I don't think that one is a regular pop-up. It looks more like a safety warning about a site that might not be the safest. It seems to be warning you that there may be trouble ahead.

Thanks, agnespuffin. Yes, it is not a regular pop-up. It is a unnecessary security one. It DOES pop-up with every single click to browse items on Ebay. It is frustrating to have to click it off on every single page. I know it has to be some kind of check-off box on properties, preference or someting on either IE or Ebay, but I can't find where... ANYONE???

To stop this popup. First make sure you are at the actual Ebay site.In other words it's not a phishing site (bogus site).Then you want to:
1. To access your Trusted Sites list, launch Internet Explorer and select Tools : Internet Options.
2. Click on the Privacy tab at the top of the window to view your Privacy Settings. Click on the Settings... button in order to modify your Trusted Sites list.
3. Enter the address of the website you wish to add to your Trusted Sites and click Add.
4. Click Close and OK to return to Internet Explorer.

Nope, it did not do it. I go in there and sign up and roam around my Ebay account, so it is the real site. I followed your instructions and that thing is still popping up. Anything else I can try?... Ten3

I buy some stuff off ebay and in IE Internet Options / Privacy, under the sites button is ebay.com, and set as ALLOWED. I believe thats mostly for cookie handling.

I do not have ebay listed under trusted sites as photos and other content on ebay pages will frequently come from other sites that would not also be in that trusted list. IE is trying to be protecting you with that pop up.

My IE Options / Security tab ... settings are Medium-High and custom. Within that custom button is probably a setting; allow, dis-allow, or prompt ..
Wording gets confusing in there for me usually, but the descriptions narrow it down somewhat and have found by trial and error, changing some of the sounds_like_maybe_its_this settings back and forth, one at a time, will usually find the fix you seek.

From what you've described you do have ebay listed as a trusted site so you will get pop ups as some of the auction photo's will come from other sites that are not listed as a trusted site too. That's possibly one reason you get that pop up. You most likely could still turn off that popup from the Security Custom level. But might someday allow some other site to do a nefaurious something.

Ok ten3, Try this
1.Open Internet Explorer
2. Click on tools
3.Click on Internet options
4.Click on security
5.Click on trusted sites
6.Click on sites
7.Then add Ebay.com in the add field (you might have to uncheck"Require server verification")
8.If more url's need to added you'll have to add them.
9.Like Mikie said this can be dangerous.

Roselvr, this does not happen with Firefox, but ebay text on firefox is very small.

Have tried all that is suggested here and nothing changed.

You can make the text from ebay larger in firefox. Click tools > options > content and set the default font. You can select the font and the font size. As you can see below I use the Verdana font with font size 20. I find this very readable on any site I have visited.

Glad it helped. I've bought on ebay but never sold. I don't see why it would matter which browser you use.
