How to get rid of all these GW pop ups

My pop up blocker is turned on so I shouldn't be getting any pop ups, yet, I'm getting them every time I come on this site (for the last several days). In the right, bottom corner of my screen it show that pop ups for this site are allowed. How do I change it to NO POP UPS? Thanks.

I have WinXP.

the very best way to get rid of all of them including the new inline ads GW warned about putting on recently is to use firefox browser with the adblock plus add on and the easylist subscription, it blocks them all, I see no ads anywhere.

once you have that then go to the easylist page below, go to the 2 yellow lines for easylist and easyprivacy to the right where it says add to ABP click there and it will be added to your adblock plus and you will be all done

and it is a very good idea to have at least 2 browsers on every pc in case something should happen to your IE browser.

Raven, I followed your directions and those annoying underline ads keep appearing. I have always used FF with Adblock. When I clicked on EasyList it asked for a list of filters. I didn't know what that meant. Maybe that's why its not working?

make sure you get the right one because some of them are not really ad blockers they are adware or worse, I had to help someone try to get one of those rogues off and it was a pain. I don't use chrome, maybe jasdip or someone that uses the real one can give you a link so you know you have the right one. I use adblock plus on my firefox and I see there is one for Chrome and I know adblock plus is good Adblock Plus for Chrome you can also get it at the chrome store. Funny-I was just noticing that these blasted things weren't popping up today! Good news. Incidentally, I mentioned having the issue here at work running Chrome, and not having the issue at home on my Mac. Thing is, I run Chrome at home too. I can't control what does or does not get installed here at work-part of a large network with IT people, etc. So the fact GW is dealing with it is best case for me. +oM

Jane I think there is a difference in ad block and ad block plus? I have ad block plus, the easy list raven suggested and I don't have any ads. I don't even have the pictures that were always at the top of the pages.

ad block is not the same as adblock plus I provided the link to adblock plus that is what you want. I would remove the regular adblock, put on adblock plus from the link I gave you then go get the 2 easylist items on the other link I provided, like I said when you go to the easylist page just scroll down to the 2 yellow lines go to the right of the line click where it says add to ABP for both of them and it will put those on your adblock plus. Shut down firefox and restart it after you install adblock plus and after you add the easylists to re set your settings in firefox

I'm currently using Chrome as my browser with IE as backup. I have FF but don't like it. I know some of you don't like Chrome, but I do. Still can't figure out how to do it and when I search for an answer, I get a bunch of crap.

These pop ups are new. I wasn't getting any until almost a week ago.

I'm using Chrome with AdThwart enabled and get no ads of any kind.

What popups? I only get them when I'm not logged in. I have IE and vista.

Here you can add
*.intellitxt.com
to internet restricted sites or advertising blockers.
Should stop the underline text word popups.

I finally got rid of the popup.. Somehow I understood the instruction better this time. Maybe I'm just getting braver
