I posted this also in the thread in question. With the link that the OP posted, I can see the pictures. With the clickable thumbnails that Sue provided, I can see them. When I click on the bird bath picture, I get The action that you were trying to perform has failed. . When I click on the barn picture, it takes me to the OPs photobucket where I can see the picture. Why I can see one and not the other is a mystery. I'm using FF with no add-ons. Bernie

You need to add the easy list subscription to the adblock plus, in the settings you can select the subscriptions.

I don't mind ads along the top or sides of pages. My mind can block them out pretty well. But iVillage has a problem here in that some ads, on some posts, cover part of the post and cannot be turned off. That's a problem on their end that they need to address. I also saw one post where the message text runs off the right side of the message area. Due to large photos in the post perhaps?

Interesting. It's been a lot time since I've used Adblock. At that time it didn't work with Firefox(just Google Chrome and Safari I think). . I used to think "Adblock Plus" did a better job than "Adblock" at stopping certain pop-ups in a certain Facebook game I was playing. . Lately I've been testing uBlock Origin. It seems quite good. Uses the familiar "Easylist" as well as others. I'll probably stick with it. The only thing I miss about Adblock Plus is its optional Element Hiding Helper. UBlock Origin has a built in element selector but I'm not so used to it yet. . BTW, "uBlock Origin" is not "uBlock".
