If history repeats itself it will begin selectively auto-upgrading in the next few days. Not all updating users will get the upgrade on-demand at the same time. Grisoft usually spreads it over a period so don't be concerned if you are not getting the upgrade with your normal updating. It might be over a couple weeks at a minmum. I for one do not see a major need to rush the upgrading at this time. I would recommend be patient. If you are familiar with FileHippo, you will see on RC's link that there isn't a Change Log tab so users don't even know what the changes are yet. They are more than likely minor fixes as the numeric change is still in the suffix. DA

Last night on my machine with Windows XP, that I don't use that much, myy AVG picked up "Trojan Downloader Agent2.XDF". I don't understand... in the virus vault it shows up twice now with 2 different "Path to Files"....C:/Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\Unload\HPqPHUnl.exe and C:\System/Volume Information\_restore(8CAD4433-DD3C-4E57-9E68-C9D0ECFAC1E. Then last night when I looked in "Resident Shield Component it kept finding them...changed the setting to "remove all threats automatically". I ran Malwarebytes and it didn't find anything, then I ran SuperAnti-Spywares, cause that is what I have installed on that computer. It didn't find anything buy 81 adware cookies with I "fixed". Is the SuperAnti-Spywares not any good? Should I change to Spywareblaster? What do I do about the trojans? I did a search and couldn't find anything on that particular trojan. It also didn't show up in the AVG dictionary? I also ran scans on this machine and it is fine.

You might visit Softpedia and try the download for microsoft security essentials (freeWare). Its Beta but looks like out of 75,000 users on the beta program, way fewer than half percent actually have problems and most are thrilled with it. Well except for one guy that thinks its too simple.
