yep DA I have had to in the past do some back door entries LOL well I guess it just needed to hear me complain a little because finally it seems to be back and working, hope it lasts. With all the changes they are doing almost daily it will likely be hit and miss. I am not liking a lot of the changes and may end up forcing me to change my primary email to one of my other ones or at least have it fetch the hotmail for me and not have to deal with the actual hotmail interface. Had to use my gmail today and realized that at some point recently my entire address book disappeared, all that is now showing up is my hotmail addy and my husbands addy, no clue why gmail would have made any changes that would affect my address book. I have had an account at inbox.com for years in fact I was one of the first accounts there, just one thing to remember there is that you must keep it active because if it goes a long time with no activity they can delete it but they usually do send you an email warning to which ever other email address you provided. My other suggested email that is really big and nice is gmx.com they have a great active forum and answer the questions and help suggestions right away. You can fetch your other mail through it also including hotmail. The link to gmx.com below is the best link to use to access your email there, it is the https secure link and if you notice up at the top next to the login button is one that says no popup, you can use that one to log in and it will open it in a new tab rather than a new window which is what I prefer. Hotmail is not on your computer: it's not a program that is installed. It's accessible when you use your browser and visit hotmail.com. It's like saying: How can I remove Google or Yahoo from my computer? It's the same thing, you can't because they are not installed. It sounds to me like this is a unique problem, probably caused by your phone company. Even if you were computer savvy, it would not be something you could resolve on your end. It sounds to me like you need to get on the phone and have SRT fix whatever this weird conflict is.
