Hotmail problem

I must sign in everytime I want to access my hotmail acct.

Am I restricting this somehow.Cookies maybe? Help me out.

It's like I'm using a library computer and I'm not.

are you ticking off the remember me or keep me signed in box below where you sign in?

Mine stays signed in unless I sign out.

do you have your browsers set to clear cookies or cache or any of that each time it closes? some are set that way by default if so that could be why.

I check "keep me signed in" everytime.

Thank you both. Yes, Breen, hopefully it is just a snaffu right now, due to their updating. On the email I sent to XXXX@ excite.com yesterday at 2:23PM I received 2 delay warnings and just now received a warning that it was a failure. Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server. Luckily the email is attached. Heck, I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, let alone who all I emailed about what? Sheesh...wish they would get all their ducks in a row ans quick. The member @excite.com hasn't had problems that she is aware of anyway, receiving emails from other folks. Sorry to rant. Sue

yep DA I have had to in the past do some back door entries LOL well I guess it just needed to hear me complain a little because finally it seems to be back and working, hope it lasts. With all the changes they are doing almost daily it will likely be hit and miss. I am not liking a lot of the changes and may end up forcing me to change my primary email to one of my other ones or at least have it fetch the hotmail for me and not have to deal with the actual hotmail interface. Had to use my gmail today and realized that at some point recently my entire address book disappeared, all that is now showing up is my hotmail addy and my husbands addy, no clue why gmail would have made any changes that would affect my address book. I check "keep me signed in" everytime.

Yes, but what browser are you using. It could be a setting there. Chances are your browser is clearing you out each time you shut down.

Do you need to log into GW each and every time? Need to log into other places each time?

Hotmail had several days in the past week or so that I had to keep logging in. Seems to have returned to normal now.

Don't know if it was a hotmail problem that cleared up on its own, or I jst had bad cookies on my side. I know I deleted them all from the ccleaner saved pile & put some fresh ones there;
