Well, I'd tried to glean some intel about Permethrin on apples after petal fall, etc. And there was an older thread about it that I was reading, the one where someone made the comment that he doubted he'd be handcuffed and hauled away, and how he didn't think it was a toxicity issue given that some veggies are labled for consumption with a very short date to harvest time. Anyway, I felt like Permethrin on apples that are a long ways for being ready would be safe. (At least from a consumption standpoint. But I must confess I have no idea what the reasoning behind the no spray on apples after petal fall thing is intended to protect against. I just haven't been able to find the right website that covers that I guess) Before it's over I think maybe I'll use Permethrin as a bug killer around my foundation and forget putting it on fruit trees. On your comment about Triazicide being 14 days on cherries, does that contain Permethrin? And if so, maybe I'd be okay to count 14 days from 6/3 when I sprayed and harvest any that are left then? I haven't used big fish in a while but from them you might not be able to delete the downloaded file as their app thingy you have to install on the PC might need it to get at the game when you want to play. Sorry it's been so long since I belonged to that site I forget but that might be the case. Best thing to do is contact big fish about it. Acutally I would use their online forums and ask other users. Yep, Cj, it happens! It may have taken a lot of foot dragging, but it's done. :) Thanks for the kind words, everyone. And, yes, Taggie, that's seriously my hood and cooktops and counter and backsplash and cabinets. :) At the very right of the photo you can see part of the window casing. The pictures really are coming soon. :) It's just that I want to do it once and do it right. I won't wait to polish the hood or get the one light bar adjusted. That's maintenance, not finishedness. :)

I see a link to the recipe now. I missed that before. Very rich like a stew. With a ton of kale (that i love). Not an easy one to repair. My kale and bean soups are much more brothy. Next time take a 1/2 cup out into a coffee/tea cup and test a bit of sugar, honey, ac vinegar/lemon. See if something might fix it. Coconut milk and a curry spice is a good idea. Different animal all together but delicious. I'm making stock now for a kale and lentil smoked chicken soup. I'll remove enough for dinner and add the kale. For freezing i add fresh kale to the soup off the stove and freeze as if it is just blanched so it does not over-cook when later re-heated.
