I have started thinking about autumn fragrances for my candles. That's about it. It is horribly hot and humid here and I will be glad when the cooler weather arrives! I have never done a craft show or been to a trade show- they sound like fun but to my knowledge there aren't any around here. Susan

isherwood777 - I think you will be very happy with your Limelights - I planted about 10 of them as a hedge (so my poor neighbor won't have to look at my compost pile, compost bin and water collector-thingy) - this is their 3rd year and I think they will be great. I had blooms my very first year in spite of these horrible winters. In spite of the one poster's impression, I have also done a lot of research on these dud All Summer Beautys. I'm tired of being unimpressed when they take up so much room. After even more reading about them, it appears as if I might possibly get a few blooms on the new wood in August (though I had zero last August) - I think I'm going to shop for dwarf Quick Fires - I have the larger ones and they bloom even earlier than my Limelights and no worries about our winters. Thanks for your nice post - I was feeling irritated by a particular response.

Thanks for the responses folks - at least I don't feel personally slighted at not being able to read the rest of the pages. Kate, I'm accessing the site by a good old fashioned desktop computer, though mine is an Apple. There is no cache at all on Google Chrome since I only use it for one task at work that has a funky programming that requires Chrome, so there's no history there to clear out. I'm on GW now with Firefox on my desktop computer, and it's still doing the same thing it does on Chrome and Safari. Looks like there's not a simple answer to why some of us are having problems and some are not, since I'm not using anything modern or fancy. I haven't tried to access GW on my phone but the screen is so small I can't fathom any real reading or viewing on the phone for my poor old eyes. Sigh. I was happy that I was able to see and read messages with pictures fine, but only on the first page I guess. I wanted to hurry up and thank everyone for the input before this scrolls to page 2 and I can no longer see it. If anyone from Houzz has an explanation for this I'd be most grateful. There's no point in my trying to start a new post until this resolves for me, since I won't be able to see anything in response unless it's a very recent post. Cynthia

Me too gls! Ok. Been thinking 🤔. Here’s a new twist on Miss K’s layout. The BIG new idea with Option 5 is to put her desk at foot of the bed! I put small stool or chair there but you could get a desk chair that doubles as a reading/guest chair (far left corner) to provide both options with minimal use of floor space. All the other furniture pieces are merely for basic sizing. It will all depend on budget and what we can find out in the markets! I think you can get a 48” wide x 24-48” desk which would be quite nice for laptop and papers and book or two. Enjoy.
