When you're done go turn system restore back on by unchecking the box. When you get it all fixed be sure and get the Microsoft updates, especially SP2.

Right click on the Zone Alarm icon on your tray. Open 'Restore Control Center.' Click on Program Control and 'Programs.' Look down the list with the check marks and question marks. Anywhere you see AVG mentioned, click on last box and then click 'allow.' You will see the question marks change to green checks. I allow everything with AVG. Jane

when that happens it is usually that it was determined to be junk or spam and your spam/junk filter just filters it out for you, that is why we have spam filters on our email clients, they are just doing their job. If it finds an infected email I believe AVG will alert you, I am not using it now I am using AVAST but I am sure one of the AVG users will be able to tell you that.
