Can't log in with Firefox

After the most recent Firefox upgrade I haven't been able to log in to Garden Web. IE and Chrome are fine.

When I try to click on the log in area, the pointer cursor doesn't acknowledge that there is link.

try going to the actual main page of Ivillage and log out then sign in there on that page not on the forum page, I have had that happen to me and logging in from that main front page works.

also before you do anything clear the cache in your firefox browser in case you have something in the cache causing problems. Tools>clear recent history > select cache from the list> on the top right select for time period everything ok

Thanks! Logging in from the main page worked great.

I use ccleaner about once a day so my cache is pretty clear. I wonder what happened during the Firefox update that caused it not to recognize the forum log ins?

have you tried with a different browser on your cell phone? I have several browsers I use on my phone, firefox, opera mini, and dolphin HD, all are very good but some work better for some things than others. For GW I often use firefox since I can add on adblock plus and easylist which helps block a lot of the ads that make it almost impossible when on a cell phone sized screen. So you may want to try that they are all free and will install in seconds, it you decide you don't want them just go to manage applications and uninstall it. Your phone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread so all of those browsers should be easily available to you from the market. you might also go into your browser settings on the phone and clear all the cache and cookies and stuff see if that might help. To do that on the phone open your browser window then click on your menu button then on the more option , then settings scroll through there to find the cache, cookie, history form data etc try clearing all that it might have saved a corrupt cookie or something.

I finally called Comcast teleworker tech support - this is a Comcast issue everywhere in general & should be fixed by the end of today. So, if anyone else is having problems getting into their Comcast acct or email - that is the deal. So, it had nothing to do with the Firefox update. whew!

Can't figure out why my Firefox Colorful Tabs don't display

Biwako - I went to options and changed it to default (I had had it set for colors to correlate with domain - and it used to work like that - but I thought I'll try anything). Again - it worked at first - and then the color goes away (it's odd - it's not just when I close a tab or open a new one that it's white - the same tab that was blue before - now is white - no colors now at all). I cannot imagine what add-on might conflict. It's a daunting task to figure out which one. I've been so wild about the FF add-ons - that I have a ton of them. I don't believe any of them were new (oh - except for extensions to try and capture hulu streaming videos). I'll try the safemode and see if colorful tabs works there. If it does, I'm willing to try eliminating those last couple of video capture extensions. If that doesn't work - I'm in for a big, long process of elimination. I don't have any color - or the other extensions that were identified as being incompatible with Colorful Tabs. But something else has gone awry - my all-in-one-sidebar doesn't work consistently either. I guess something I added or updated is causing a problem. I'll report back if I figure it out. Thanks. How are you going about copying? Right click, menu bar, keyboard shortcut? Check for Windows Updates and do another check for an update to Firefox. One thing about Firefox, the add-ons can affect basic processes in the program. I've experienced that a number of times. If all is updated, disable all of your extensions and see if it works.

It may be a coincidence, I have had it occur to me randomly, could be the same for you. I have no idea why it happens.

Just by chance the pointer created by the cookie either changed or timed out.

IE says page content has security errors.

Dee as you use Ccleaner quite often why not protect any cookies like iVillage or other places you visit often from being deleted? Open Ccleaner, click Options then Cookies and move any you wish to save from the left side to the right window and they are protected.

I get the warning also that the certificate is expired or has errors or something like that each time I go to any page here to log in, I have been just clicking on continue on anyway and log in.

I have found if I am logging in on a lot of different devices I will have to log in more often, I use my tablets, phone and pc regularly, at times I get the log in requirement on one, it also happens with other sites, my guess is their detection sees a new device or browser and want to make sure I really am who I say I am.

The certificate for the log in page has been expired for as long as I can remember.

How can I post and reply to topics in the bluebird forum?
I am obviously logged in but when I go there I see the message below. I even click log in, log in, and see the same thing after logging in...
