My post made above at Jul 14, 12 at 22:46 came through to Hotmail instantly. hmmm....gremlins? Here is something interesting...I've checked the box earlier to get the replies emailed to me, yet now the message below says, "Check here if you would like post replies emailed to you. blah, blah, blah." Usually it tells to to click or something if you NO LONGER want email replies emailed to you. hmmmm......Well, I'll check the box again. I wonder if it did that because I am replying again so soon. Think?

If you try to submit another post immediately after your first (or previous) post, the system views that next, immediate post as a repeat. In that instance, you will have to change the subject line of your follow-up post. For example, if the subject of the thread is something like: "Why I like kitchens," you may have to change the subject line on your follow-up post to something like: "Another reason why I like kitchens." If there are posts entered by others between your own submissions, you shouldn't have to do this. HTH

No one sees how big the basement is and, in my area, basement size is not considered part of the square footage for assessment purposes. What neighbors will notice is the height and width of your house-especially as viewed from the front. A house will smaller street frontage will appear smaller than a house of the same sq ft. area with greater street frontage. I don't know what you plan to cook on the griddles, but I can make perfect eggs and pancakes on *gasp* a large frying pan. So spend more time thinking about what you'll actually need for your family. With kids, you'll want a separate table for eating and lots of horizontal counter or table space for those school projects. You also might want counter space reserved for computer(s) to more easily observe your kids online activities. I'd make sure you've got those first. As to cooking appliances, it might be that separate wall ovens and cooktop/rangetop will fit your needs and space better so consider those options, too.
