You would need to install the active x program for each of those, or any such site. These are small programs specific to the particular web site. Popcap has some very good games if you like those kind of things and they do not throw you out after an hour of usage. My wife is a frequent visitor to Popcap You might find you would enjoy RealArcade, they do throw you out after an hour on each game but it seems there are a huge number of them to choose amongst so you can stay for many hours.

It's the whole problem with Using internet explore, it gives the browser complete control. Some sites & scanners require it to run programs. Not all Active X is bad, The stuff you see is probably nothing to worry about on your computer.

When you talk about deleting Active X, do you really mean disable it in Internet Explorer? Active X is a set of helper programs that make things work together better on your PC, but they also affect security. You can go into your settings in the Tools / Internet Options tab of Internet Explorer and make changes to the settings. But there are trade-offs, and the more you disable Active X, the more annoying it may become to surf the Internet. You don't say what version of IE you are using, but there is some helpful info in the link below that will give you some ideas. When you get the message "Internet Explorer is not responding" what you usually do is close it and reopen it. Or, you could use a browser like Firefox that may have fewer problems. First off lets get one thing perfectly clear I have NEVER claimed to be the ONLY person here HELPING, how absurd. IObit has been found guilty of several thefts of program material over the years this theft of malwarebytes is just one more. NOT the kind of people I want to entrust ANY ones pc to.
