I am just finishing a bathroom renovation, and I am thrilled with the way a floor similar to what you are considering has turned out. I used 8x8 honed bursa beige marble field tiles laid on the diagonal, with a mosaic border of polished Jerusalem gold and afyon sugar (white with some gold), and little 1x1 squares of the Jerusalem gold at every intersection of the beige tiles. When the tiles arrived there was less contrast than I expected between the border and the field tiles, and I panicked, but in fact the whole effect is quite beautiful and subtle, and the polished dots and border sparkle in the light and create some texture underfoot without making the whole of my little 5x8 bathroom look too busy. I have been trying to capture this in photos, but so far I haven't succeeded. (My walls are 4x12 white subways, and beige-colored paint above the wainscot on the toilet side of the room.) Hi, I just designed my new home and my master bath has a walk-in shower and we don't use a door of anykind. I love it. If your plan was mine I would consider a few changes. It would then look much like mine. Proposed changes: 1) Put your shower entry across from stool. I don't think you'll want it right by the entry. Mine is right across from the stool. 2) Put fan/heater/light fairly close to the opening. 3) Put a shower light in 4)I would consider eliminating the half walls and put a tower of storage cab. on each side of vanity. I went with just one sink because we never seem to have to be in at sink at same time and if we do we share!! I store all my towels, etc. in them. I put an outlet in each and that is where the hair blower, etc. can be plugged in behind the scenes and works out so nice. Code also required one on the outside. 5) I also put a corner little bench in mine for shaving legs, etc. Put some little corner shelves in as well with tiles cut diagonally. You could easily do that same thing. I also put a smaller soaker tub in. Is your closet for linens or clothes? I put my walk-in closet as a separate room. I am very happy with how it turned out. Not a designer, (but have had many positive comments) in my next life!! Good luck on your adventure!

If you like gray, use the technical aspects of the above tile layouts as a blueprint, and use a light gray tile with a black liner and cap for the details. Maybe find a chiclet or hex floor in grays with a bit of green, or all green. Green with gray can be tricky though. I’m not feeling the encaustic tile look at all. It’s much too trendy for a Victorian. You could frame the mirrors if you want..the lights for your vanity seem uneven, though they are centered on the mirror I think that's because the lowered counter. I have the lowered counter as well and I find it useless..whenever I do apply make-up, I never sit down. Here is an example very similar to yours, but with framed mirrors here is one that has a smaller vanity, but all at the same level..It has two lights and looks more balanced this is something completely different..looks like separate vanity used for make-up even though it's part of the same vanity..
