Pulled the Trigger on Appliances Yesterday

Well, after months of planning a deliberation, I purchased my appliances yesterday for my kitchen renovation project.

Range: 30" Bosch Dual-Fuel Slide in (Stainless)

Hood: 36", 600 cfm internal, Prestige (Stainless)

Microwave: 24" Sharp Drawer (Stainless)

Refrigerator: 21.8 cu. ft., KitchenAid Counter-Depth (Stainless)

Dishwasher: 24" Miele Diamante Plus (Custom Panel)

Washer: Bosch Axxis (White)

Dryer: Bosch Axxis (White with slide out stacking kit)

Disposal: Waste King 1 H.P. Continuous with air switch

I purchased everything from my local appliance store (1 mile from my house), They matched any internet price. All together (with tax & delivery) about $11.5 k. I will not take delivery until the last week in August based on my build out schedule.

They began to discuss service plans but I usually associate these as being "rip-offs" and a means of extra margin for the dealer. Do any of you have any thoughts regarding this?

Thanks,
