who knew? (dust in computer!)

Lately, my Compaq Presario tower computer has been acting up. It was really slow, freezing all the time, and the hard drive ran incessantly (computer was always "thinking"). The memory wasn't even a quarter of the way full. Granted the computer is a dinasour (four years old)... I bought anti-virus software thinking that I had something the free stuff wasn't taking care of.

Well, that didn't help one bit. I opened the computer up and it was covered in dust inside! I used the blower port on one of my vacuums and blew all the dust out of it. Tried the computer again and it was like new! Very fast, no freezing, and hard drive was thinking a lot less! The dust must have been causing overheating!

Just wanted to let everyone else know... it could be something that simple! To think I was going to go shopping for a laptop! Not anymore!
