Beware!!! i got those by buying food in walmart .you can get them enywhere you buy food expecially pet food. check packages before purchacing . if you see web or larve dont buy it. I have eliminated successfully the indian moth . by trowing away every open and anything that showed sign of contamination . sprayed interior out and toop of my cabinet with flying incest killer . then 24 hour later i cleaned every single cabinet with bleach and dish soap. then placed in containers the good food and wiped clean cans with alcohol. then 3 days later placed everything back in the cabinets and placed a lavender leaf in cabinet also you can use moht balls to repel them. after that even if you see 3 or 4 flying around. kill them for peace of mind but after they dont find more food they will not lay eggs cause larva will starve to death.

It's not in the Control Panel under Add/Remove. I have already tried a System Restore, to no avail but I only went back to the first of this year. We have had this "red box" for about a year and it disappeared for months. It reappeared AFTER I did the system restore. Witz, my son is a computer person and he ran Spybot last night and deleted some registry files. He is the one that said it was Pandora PC. I don't know how he knew. The little red box is next to the date/time (in the right corner.) DA, no one uses this computer except my husband and I and we are both old and retired, so no need to spy on each other, LOL. The reason I said it "piggybacked" in on something we may have downloaded is because of what I read on the internet, that being..."downloading freeware or shareware can be bundled with spyware, adware or programs like PC Pandora. Sometimes it's attached to the free software to "pay" developers for the cost of creating software and more often spyware is secretly and maliciously attached to free software to harm your computer and steal your personal & financial information." Maybe we have downloaded some freeware that might be our problem? I hope we can get rid of this too, as it's really slowing our computer down. I did find some instructions (see link below), I'll wait until my son has a chance to come back to our house, for fear I might do something to damage our computer. Don't worry about the differences between AVG, Avast or Antivir, they all do a good job with a virus, you do not appear to have a virus so use Malwarebytes.

Update on my experience. About two weeks ago I had my chimney cleaned and a "Lock Top" damper installed on the top of the chimney. This is a brand name, and it is installed with a sealing grout and has a heat resistant gasket such that when it is closed it seals like a well fit storm door, being closed by a pull chain hanging down the flue to the fireplace opening. The chimney person said my cement crown for three flues was badly cracked, some cracks as wide as his finger. He said he could get me a price to repair, but didn't know it that had anything to do with the problem. Then some rain came and the smell came back. As "Luck" would have it I also had an appointment with my roofer to replace a shingle the wind had blown off and to check my roof. I told him about the chimney cap and he said he could repair, they did it with a repair cement/plaster. That was three days ago and the smell is slowly going down, but we haven't had any rain yet either. I am hopeful that the repair of the "crown" will turn the table on the smell. I'd like to use the fireplace next winter once and a while, but I will not if we can't solve the smell problem. Yes, an airtight insert with a stainless steel liner with insulation mortar (or something like that) to fill in the space between the liner and the tiles would fix the problem, I'm told. This looks to be well over $3,000, maybe $4,000, a bit more than I'd like to spend for the joy of a warm hearth.
