I just added Firefox for the first time this past weekend; it's version 3.5.3 which I believe is the latest. At Adobe, I installed/reinstalled Flash Version 10.0.32.18. It is for Windows, Firefox, Safari and Opera. I also installed the Flash Player 10 PlugIn 10.0.32.18 which is for Firefox. I tested at the Adobe site and they report Flash 10.0.32.18 was successfully installed. I also checked C:\Windows/system32/Macromed/Flash and found Flash10c.ocx and NPSWF32.dll there. During the time that I was still trying to get IE7 to work, I followed some directons using Start, Run and then entering each of the following separately, followed by clicking OK. They were regsvr32 mshtml.dll regsvr32 shdocvw.dll regsvr32 browseui.dll regsvr32 msjava.dll Success was reported with the 1st three, but on the last the message was: LoadLibrary ("msjava.dll") failed. The specified module could not be found. I googled it and one site said it won't be found because MS's Java has been replaced by Sun's version. Another site listed programs it's known to affect - Macromedia Flash was on the list. Since I recognized the work Java, I reinstalled that program just in case it might solve the video problem - it didn't. Since this all began somewhere in the process of updating to IE7 (which I then uninstalled) I did reinstall IE7 hoping for a magic solution - it didn't happen. I do plant to continue with FF, however. Is there a program (or maybe it's a tool that's already on my computer) that would show what's happening behind the scenes when the video is "loading"? Ah, the world of work. It's a crazy place. I remember when we had a meeting in a room that had a glass window to the hallway. The snacks for our meeting break were on a table in the hallway, thoroughly covered and wrapped. It was obviously not meant for passersby. During the entire meeting we watched as people walking down the hall helped themselves. At first they just kind of wiggled a finger under the plastic wrap. As that got looser, they went in for a little more. each person unwrapped it further and pretty soon it was a feeding frenzy out there. I was pretty appalled by it, although those of us in the meeting room who were facing the window were in hysterics at the comedy of it all. The people with their backs to the window couldn't understand what we were laughing at. Then when our meeting took a break and went out to eat what was left, we could see people peeking around corners for us to leave so they could swoop in for the remainders. After that we kept the snacks in the meeting room. Frankly I wished things like showers, retirement parties, birthdays, etc. would take place outside of work. They are such time wasters and you feel as if you must participate. I wish no one ever brought doughnuts and cookies and candy to work. It is so hard to resist when you have to walk past it a hundred times a day. Outside of work I would never eat a doughnut, but when I can see and smell them I eat three. And don't get me started on all those people taking up collections for someone;s retirement party, engagement party, wedding party etc. I am sure over all the years of my career I shelled out a thousand dollars or more. I was already married (and divorced!) and had kids when I went to work, so there was no payback. I left when my job was eliminated (and then decided to retire), so there was no goodbye party either. When I worked for a small nonprofit there was no budget for parties. Since I had one of the highest level positions, I felt compelled to buy most of the goodies. Leadership, and all that. Every birthday set me back $50. I'd load up on frozen TJs desserts rather than expensive bakery items. Oh well, I am just glad I don't have to haul myself off to all that craziness again. I like the idea of putting names on each donated items so those who are eating and not donating may feel awkward (but I doubt it).

Hostatakeover- The active ingredient in Preen I scorn gluten. Farmers discovered that no weeds grew around corn silos and experiments showed corn gluten kept seed from germinating. I suspect that something else killed your Coreopsis. Once again, glyphosate has been shown to have no effect on the health of farmers who are the people who are most exposed to the chemical. It is without any doubt the safest of all herbicides, far safer than almost all organic herbicides except vinegar, which is acid and will burn foliage with not much guarantee of preventing regrowth. Calling it vile and cancerous without any basis in fact is foolish. At this point I am tired of preaching about it and if you want to continue to believe, beyond all science and proof that there is a government conspiracy to hide harmful effects then go ahead, be my guest. Spend your time bending over pulling seedlings. Don't cry about back aches or how hard it is. Don't tell me about Canada which bans 'all' sales of any herbicide for home use, period. Don't tell me about UN studies which force fed doses of glyphosate millions of times that of any possible exposure and notice a slight increase in cancer in rats. Simply keep suffering with weeds and seedlings unnecessarily. I consider it punishment for allowing yourself to be ignorant of the facts. Glyphosate for over 50 years has been the safest and most effective herbicide available, period. It has never been shown to increase cancer risk in any way except when massive doses are forced into rats. The people most exposed to it have zero increase in any cancers and no indication of any ill effects. Studies show it passes through the body with zero change. It affects amino acid enzymes in plants through foliage....period. It has never, after 50 years of testing been shown to cause any harm to humans. So, please continue to labor under ignorance if you choose. I am quite tired of trying to educate people that simply aren't interested in facts. Jon
