Fanboys and Easylist are both good general subscriptions. Nowadays when Adblock Plus installs, it automatically subscribes you to one or the other at random. Yeah, if you don't have Easylist in there, and you disable Fanboy, you won't be subscribed to any list and Adblock Plus won't do you a bit of good. So you'll want to re-enable it. Optionally, if you want to try Easylist, it's here: http://easylist.adblockplus.org/en/ or if you'd rather: Add EasyList to Adblock Plus I wouldn't subscribe to both at the same time though, it might slow your browser down too much checking through two huge lists. :) Edit: It's okay to have both Easylist and Fanboy listed in you subscriptions... just don't have both enabled(checked) at the same time. Edit2: I just tried Fanboy on one of my other computers just in case there was a problem with one of his filters. It "seems" to work fine. All's well that ends well. I thought v6.0 was the first version compliant with the federal anti-trust law suit agreement that IE could be removed sucessfully from Windows. Again dusting off an old brain cell or two, wasn't it at this time the creation of the Microsoft update site came into existence as an alternative to the on-board Windows update utility configured through IE? This of course being done so users could update Windows without being mandated to retain IE. DA

I would immediately be removing all those darn toolbars most can be done through add remove programs. I hate it when there are so many you can barely have enough real estate for viewing a webpage. But you sure can go back to IE7 just make sure you continue to get all your critical windows updates for IE7. also if you do choose to keep it you can change the address bar back to how it was in earlier versions of IE I have posted that tip here on a few threads but if you can not find it just either ask or google make IE8 look like Ie7 or IE6 there are a lot of things you can change to make it look more familiar, changing the look to the classic menu will be one easy change.

Hi everyone, I found this on a website that tells you how to do it in Firefox. Open up FireFox and then go to view, then go to Zoom and you can Scroll down and select the 'ZOOM' option, then slide across, then down and select the 'ZOOM TEXT ONLY' option which should put a check mark by it. Now scroll back up and select the 'ZOOM IN' option to enlarge the text that you view on any website. Each time you go back and select the 'ZOOM IN' feature, the text will get larger. If you want to make the text smaller then go to Zoom Out And to get back to where it was before you started simply select the 'RESET' option. I did that here and it has stayed where I put it. You can do this as you move from site to site and it will stay the same as long as you have the check mark in "Zoom Text Only" That is what I found in my search, you can check it out to see what you get, so far this has worked. thirdfrt!!!
